CBC Scholar Stefan Kathman receives the ACS Division of Medicinal Chemistry Predoctoral Fellowship
The CBC is proud to announce that CBC Scholar Stefan Kathman has received an ACS Division of Medicinal Chemistry Predoctoral Fellowship for the 2014-2015 academic year. Congratulations Stefan!
The ACS Division of Medicinal Chemistry Predoctoral Fellowship is a prestigious award that has been given annually since 1991. Many of the recipients of this award have gone on to exceptional careers in the field of medicinal chemistry. As such, this award represents acknowledgement of Stefan’s superior achievements as a graduate student, and his potential to become an independent investigator. This year, the award consists of a $26,000 stipend and a plaque.
Stefan, who is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Chemistry, Northwestern University in Prof. Alexander V. Statsyuk’s lab became a CBC Scholar in 2014.
